Create or import wallet
The wallet starts from a recovery phrase and local unlock password. Use test credentials while Quorum is pre-mainnet.
Create a wallet
- Choose create wallet.
- Generate a new recovery phrase.
- Store it in a safe test location.
- Confirm the phrase if prompted.
- Set a local password.
- Review the default identities.
Import a wallet
- Choose import.
- Enter the recovery phrase.
- Set a local password.
- Confirm that derived identities match the expected accounts.
Password versus recovery phrase
The password unlocks local wallet storage. The recovery phrase is the root secret. If the recovery phrase is lost, the derived identities cannot be recovered from the password alone.
Never import production phrases
Use new devnet phrases for testing. A pre-mainnet wallet should not hold production Solana or Ethereum custody secrets.
