Review and approve
Approving is the critical step in the Quorum app. A member signature authorizes the multisig program to count that member toward the proposal policy.
What to review
- Proposal title and action type.
- Recipient, amount, mint, program ID, or instruction accounts.
- Whether the app recognizes the instruction.
- Total threshold status.
- Post-quantum threshold status.
- Timelock status.
- Your selected signing identity.
Approval versus submission
The wallet signs a canonical Quorum preimage. The app submits a Solana transaction carrying that signature. The fee payer may be different from the member authority.
Scheme-specific notes
Ed25519 members are the most familiar Solana signer path. They are not post-quantum and should not be the only approval class for high-value long-lived authority.
